Cracked Heel Cross Polarized
Cross Polarization allows you to remove the variability of surface reflection and light scatter from underlying treatment sites. In some instances this allows you to more accurately demonstrate the effect of the product by reducing the visual variable of white reflected pixels.
This is particularly useful in “product on” shots, as often times products that form a film or leave a residue can have a major shine component.
While shine can be desirable for the end user, it is not always something that should be left up to chance in the Clinical Photography Studio.
