The decision to reschedule the global event was very difficult. Despite the positive rollout of the vaccination programme, Europe gradually re-opening and more live events now taking place, recent evaluation with cosmetic brands show that confidence in travelling to the event remains low. This combined with ongoing uncertainty regarding travel restrictions prompted us to reassess the situation. Our primary aim is to meet the expectations of our exhibitors and visitors, and this we believe will now happen in 2022.
As a result of this postponement, your contract to exhibit and 100% of the charges paid for the 2021 event are being rolled over for the 2022 event in accordance with Regulation 39.3. This will include, where applicable, all charges for space, smartspace, shell scheme, smart reader, sponsorship, advertising and indemnity.
Whilst we are disappointed that the in-person event will not take place this year, several digital products will be available to keep you connected with the global personal care industry. Our sales contact will be in touch shortly with you to discuss these products and answer any questions you may have.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience it caused, but by making this announcement today, we hope to allow time for the confidence in attending large-scale international events to grow before we can unite together again in Paris next year.
